HOW TO USE

Soy candles are a natural product that behaves differently than paraffin candles. To enjoy your candle for as long as possible and maintain its aroma, it's worth following a few basic rules.

FIRST SMOKING

When burning a soy candle for the first time, allow the wax to melt to the outer edges of the container. Fully melting the top layer of wax prevents the so-called memory ring and tunneling and releases maximum fragrance. For soy candles, this takes about 1 to 2 hours.
A well-conducted first burning of a candle can significantly extend its lifespan, so we strongly encourage you to take this step into account.

PUT ON THE STAND

Always place candles on a heat-resistant base and place them on a level and stable surface.

MAXIMUM SMOKING TIME PER SESSION.

If you want to maintain the intensity of your candle's fragrance and the aesthetics of your jar, don't overheat it. Try not to burn it for longer than 2 to 3 hours. If you plan to use it for a longer period of time, extinguish the candle after the recommended time and allow the wax to harden before relighting. This will also prevent the wick from tipping.

MAXIMIZE YOUR SCENT

Open windows and doors disperse the fragrance and reduce its concentration. To maximize its fragrance, give the candle a limited space, which will not only intensify the scent but also ensure optimal consumption.

PUTTING OUT THE CANDLE

Try to avoid blowing out the candle, or do so very carefully. Blowing out the candle can cause it to splatter, staining furniture and the jar, and in the worst-case scenario, burn you.

It's best to extinguish a candle with a snuffer. If you don't have one, safely cut off the candle's access to oxygen – for example, with a plate (don't do this with a lid). However, immediately after extinguishing, release the smoke from the container; any remaining smoke will significantly affect the scent of the wax.

LAST BURN

Stop burning the candle when at least 1 cm of wax remains at the bottom of the jar. This will prevent thermal overheating of the jar and, consequently, possible damage to the surface on which you place the candle.

When the last 1 cm of wax has hardened, break it up with a spoon and discard. Soy wax is biodegradable, so you can safely dispose of it and reuse the container.

PRECAUTIONS

Do not leave lit candles unattended, keep and burn them out of the reach of children and pets.

Always place candles on a heat-resistant base and place them on a level and stable surface.

Do not touch or move the candle while it is burning - you may burn yourself as the container and wax become very hot.

Don't burn the candle all the way to the bottom to avoid damaging the jar – stop burning the candle when there's about 1 cm of wax left at the bottom. Burning the candle below this level risks overheating the jar, unsticking and shifting the wick, and consequently cracking the jar and possibly damaging the surface on which you place the candle.

Burn your candle away from drafts. Drafts adversely affect both the candle's combustion and its safety. A flickering flame causes soot deposits and shortens the candle's burn time, and can also be dangerous.
