STORY: The remnants of night still struggle with day. Slowly, the grays transform into colors: oranges, reds, blues. The approaching sun can be heard in the voices of birds, as surprised as every day. From the morning blue-gray mist emerge the outlines of temples, the sharp points of stupas pointing skyward. In the valley, in undisturbed ZEN, the great Irrawaddy River flows majestically.

The monotonous chanting of the monks, accompanied by the scent of incense, rises ever more distinctly above the monastery roofs. The wind from the mountains disperses the last clouds and blends all the scents of this mystery, creating a mesmerizing composition.

The mantras fade, the sun rises. Chains of tiny figures in saffron Kashays set off on their daily procession to collect gifts.
